Januqaia is one of Teravana’s most fertile and prosperous countries, remarkable for its cohesion, order, and stability. Agricultural heartlands support dense settlement, major cities, sophisticated infrastructure, and a powerful bureaucracy.
Khanish conquest did not erase those institutions. Their administrative value helped preserve a stable and prosperous country whose domestic affairs remain locally administered within the Great Khanate.

The third conquest
The Khanate
Januqaia was the third major foreign country conquered by Obdey Khan, after Lithaea and Lamsara. Khanish rulers preserved much of its bureaucracy because wholesale destruction was economically unwise; that retained administration continues to govern domestic affairs and local taxation while meeting imperial obligations.
